Use it to avoid accidental tripping and unplugging in warehouses, convention centers, theaters, etc. The center length on the adhesive side of the tape has a plastic coating which creates an adhesive-free zone or channel for cables so they do not get gummy with adhesive residue. The tape is designed to remove cleanly from most surfaces and it is hand-tearable.</p> <p>"Dead Zone" Widths: 3 inch wide(75mm) = 40mm dead zone; 4 inch wide (100mm) = 57mm dead zone; 6 inch wide (150mm) = 80mm dead zone.</p> NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size).
